A LITTLE CLARITY BEFORE WE BEGIN
Your questions,
answered.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. Here are a few things you might be wondering about the fine art experience.
-
No modelling experience is needed. You will receive direction throughout the session, including help with posing and expression.
-
You can bring a detailed idea, a few inspirations, or simply a feeling you would like the portrait to capture. The first conversation helps us find a direction together.
-
Wardrobe is planned around your concept. We can discuss your own clothing, available studio pieces and whether custom costume or prop work would suit the idea. Specific inclusions are confirmed before booking.
-
Hair and makeup needs vary with the concept. We will discuss whether a professional artist is appropriate and confirm arrangements and costs as part of your plan.
-
Yes. Let’s talk about who will be involved, their ages and the story you would like to create, so we can plan an experience that suits your family.
-
Brilliant Images is based in Stratford, Ontario. Studio and location ideas are discussed during planning. Any travel arrangements and related costs are confirmed with your experience.
-
The work begins with photography, lighting, styling and direction, followed by artistic digital editing and, where the concept calls for it, compositing. The fine art experience is created by an artist, without AI-generated imagery.
-
Digital images, prints and artwork options depend on the experience you choose. Your proposal will explain the included images and products, with any additional artwork purchases discussed separately.
-
The schedule depends on the concept, preparation and finished artwork. Session length, editing and any production timelines are discussed before you book.
-
Please get in touch for current pricing. Creative direction, wardrobe, location and artwork choices can all affect the scope of an experience.
-
Yes. Visit Other Services for headshots, business and events, family and maternity photography, boudoir, video services and prop creation.
-
Email me with a little about yourself and what you would love to create. If you have a date in mind, include it. We will start with a conversation about your ideas and the next steps.
