Becca and Jamie - The Engagement

Meet Becca and Jamie, their engagement session was a truly unique mix between the interests of a client and the brilliant images style. They came to us with the idea of involving Beccas horse and immediately we were excited. The ideas started flying since there is not many things that are more dramatic than a galloping horse. We storyboarded away while chatting back and forth with Becca and Jamie to create an exciting photo and video session.

Translating a theme across a photo gallery and video can do wonders for the client experience! During Becca and Jamie’s session the emotion of “free love” was attempted across each platform. The theme was born out of Becca’s horse being involved. A galavanting horse is as wild as it gets. Running at high speeds with their hair flying through the wind is the ultimate picture of being wild and free. Becca and Jamie matched that energy with their happy and smiley selves we knew this theme would be perfect. 

When executing any plan it is so important to be adaptable as we learned here. Working with animals can leave an area that you simply can’t plan for. How the animal will react will pave the way for your plan. Having a plan is important to ensure you deliver a beautiful project no matter what road you take.

The ideas that Becca and Jamie brought to the table made this session everything that it was. Painting the client’s vision with a brilliant image flare is what makes each session so unique. You never know what will come of it. Becca bringing us the opportunity to work with her horse offered us a solid foundation to create something excitingly beautiful. Learning how to run with a plan b and have the results turn out as expected rewards us with that excitement that we wish to give Becca and Jamie. These two have such loving and exciting energy that makes the sweetness of their session radiate.
